Engine display trailer used to display model steam engines at Farm Threshing shows and Old Iron shows thoughout the 1990's.   Trailer contains high pressure vertical boiler modified to take 300 psi.  Hydrotested to 270 psi.  Working pressure is 100 psi.  1/2" Penberthy injector worked perfectly last time it was used in 1999.   Injector was used in conjunction with a hand operated feed pump.
Engines in photos are shown to indicate exactly how they were displayed in the trailer, and are not included in the sale.   Tubes coming off the front of the engines are for exhaust to channel down in front of the trailer.  Every thing permanently mounted in trailer except engines,  is included in sale.
Red and white signs are orginal signs from the Great Lakes ore freighter SS McFarland engineroom.   Best photo showing boiler is photo #2.  Boiler is about 18-1/2" in diameter, shell is 34-3/4" high.  Trailer is enclosed for traveling.  Upper Right side wall folds up on hinges to create awning.   Part of lower right side wall folds down on hinges to create shelf.  Wood parts of trailer have suffered some deterioration since photos were taken.
Trailer is built out of a fishhouse  whose wheels can be raised in order to lower trailer to the ground, for easier viewing for short youngsters.  Trailer is sitting on the ground in the photos.  Trailer is equipped with 2" Ball Hitch.   Wheels need better alignment.  Boiler was fired with wood, and has ample power to run the 5 rotary steam engines + 1 Worthington duplex pump engine model.  Trailer has a steel floor.  Fuel bunker is built into left front corner of the trailer.
Boiler was drained down and dried out after every show.  Boiler was drained down and dried out in 1999, and has been dry ever since.  Buyer should pick up locally.  Will consider transporting it myself for short distances.

Local pickup only: Pickup location will be updated after order is received.
