REDUCED PRICE I am offering for sale a home-built ride-on 7.5-inch gauge train, with 432 feet of track. The track is rusty, but functionally sound. The train consists of a locomotive, tender with seat for driver, two ride-on cars with seats for passengers, and a caboose. Locomotive runs on two 12-volt batteries – included. Locomotive has working headlight, horn, and speed-control. Seller will require one month to dismantle track. Buyer must provide transport to destination, as well as preparation for transport – crates, bracing, etc. The included track consists of 18 sections of curved track (each section being 1/8 of a 20-ft diameter circle), 32 straight sections (each section being 80 inches long), and one each of the following lengths of straight sections: 17”, 36”, 45”, 47”, 50”, 54”, 59”, 69”, 73”, 74”, 92”, 93”, and 3 at 60”, plus one 2-ft x 2-ft crossing section. CAUTION / NOTE / FULL DISCLOSURE: There is a metal cross-tie about every 6-1/8 inches. Seven of those cross-ties are slightly bent and one is loose (weld failed on one end). They can be repaired or used as-is. Train performance is not affected. ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURE: There is an intermittent (non-recurring) problem with the Forward / Reverse toggle, which I have not been able to pin-point and resolve. It does not always change direction as expected; however, it does function properly most of the time. Buyer must acknowledge these disclosures and accept the track and control box “As-Is”. The following are included for no additional... a battery charger and a re-railer tool. If requested, Seller will remove lettering from train. Note – The large “drive wheels” on the locomotive are for appearance only. It is actually driven by smaller wheels located under the shell. Return accepted if returned within 90 days in same condition as received and return expense paid by Buyer. Asking $4,900 (REDUCED PRICE). Seller will accept PayPal or certified check, no personal checks. Train is located in Prairieville, Louisiana. Contact me using the "Contact Seller" button.
Local pickup only: Pickup location will be updated after order is received.
